Who we are
ShowLocalAI (showlocalai.co.uk) provides AI-visibility audits and reports for UK local businesses. For anything privacy-related, contact us at hello@showlocalai.co.uk.
What we collect
Audit details you enter: your business name, website URL and area. These are used to run your audit and are stored with your results so your report link keeps working.
Your email and name, if you choose to unlock a report. We use these to send you your report link and updates about your audit and our launch. We don't sell or share your email with anyone.
Audit results, including your scores and the answers AI services gave about your business, so we can show them in your report and track changes over time.
Your IP address, used only to rate-limit the free audit (it costs us money to run) — not for advertising or profiling.
What we don't collect
We don't run advertising trackers on this site, and we never see or store your card details — payment is handled entirely by Stripe (see below).
Services we use
Stripe handles pre-sale payments. When you join the pre-sale your card is saved securely by Stripe; we only receive confirmation that it happened. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
Supabase hosts our database (audit results and contact details). Resend delivers our emails. Vercel hosts the site.
To run your audit, we send your business name, website address and area (never your personal contact details) to AI and search services — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and SerpApi — and record what they say about the business.
How long we keep it
Audit results are kept so your report link continues to work and so we can show how your visibility changes over time. If you want your data deleted — audits, email, everything — email us at hello@showlocalai.co.uk and we'll do it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@showlocalai.co.uk for any of these. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you think we've handled your data badly.
